Product Description

Love Dungeons and Dragons?  How would you like to play D&D in a beautiful French castle?

We are looking for ten brave adventurers to take part in a week of Dungeons and Dragons in the beautiful French countryside, all played in one of the oldest castles in France.

The $500 ticket price is a non refundable deposit (refundable only if we cancel the event due to not selling all 10 tickets).  Full prices range from $4,000 to $5,000 USD depending on your choice of room, which we will confirm later once we have all ten tickets sold.

Food and Accommodations Purchases:  This ticket type is for significant others who wish to come along with another player.  The total cost will be $2,500 USD and will include food as well as the same room that the friend of the guest has picked (at double occupancy prices).

Do NOT purchase plane tickets until we have confirmed that we have all ten people signed up.

What We'll Be Playing

There will be two tables, with five guests at each.  Both will be playing Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition.

Matthew Glanfield (me!) - MiniWarGaming

I have been dungeon mastering since I was a kid, and have run dozens of campaigns from many different RPGs.  My current group has been playing consistently every week for over 5 years.

I haven't finalized yet what my table will run, but it will most likely be a combined homebrew setting with Spelljammer vibes (i.e. super high fantasy with weird monsters and lots of strange encounters).

Jonathan Smith - War Budgies

Jonathan Smith has been immersed in the worlds of Dungeons and Dragons for 25 years, since his first family game at twelve. He continued as a player and dungeon master throughout his military career, running games at each duty station across the United States and Europe.

He now works as a contract developer and writer with Privateer Press, creators of the award-winning Iron Kingdoms campaign setting for Dungeons and Dragons.

Jon's plans:  Embark upon a journey of adventure and intrigue in a world where steam power and gunpowder meet sword and sorcery. Armed with arcane mechanika and mighty steamjacks, explore the soot-covered cities of the Iron Kingdoms and the aftermath of the otherworldly invasion of the infernals.

Unite with your fellow adventurers to discover a single death that threatens to tear apart the Iron Kingdoms as they struggle to rebuild. Unravel the web of corruption behind a simple murder, choose a side in a game of shadows or make your own way, and escape the darkness that pursues you even as you hunt it!

Included in the ticket price is a shuttle from the Chateauroux train station.  If you are flying in to Paris, France, then you would start at the Austerlitz train station in Paris.

More information on the train here (you will need to buy your train tickets in advance, but do NOT buy them until we have confirmed that we have all ten people):

If you are planning on driving there will be free parking at the castle.
